After almost twenty years, I stopped wishing and finally made traveling and adventure an actual priority. My first real trip out of the country was to visit our friendly neighbors to the North in British Columbia. The trip totaled about a week, part being spent in Victoria, and part in Vancouver. The fabled beauty of BC didn’t disappoint – even in winter, the natural beauty of this place shines through, and it will forever be a place that holds dear to my heart.

Tip: If you want to see these gardens in their liveliest state, visit in the Spring. These pictures were taken in January – and while I was still blown away by all the beauty, I cannot begin to imagine how stunning everything looks in full bloom!

Yes, I’m obsessed with Victoria’s Secret. But this isn’t just any Victoria’s Secret. This is the second largest Victoria’s Secret store in the world, and it’s located in downtown Vancouver – just a few blocks away from where I happened to be staying. It’s 35,000-square feet, two stories high, and filled with all the lingerie a girl ever could ask for.

Don’t worry- they have boyfriend chairs if he’s not as enthusiastic about half a football field worth of lacy pink things.
